Merkurhuset in Gothenburg by the OLSSON LYCKEFORS studio, between present and past
The Merkurhuset project designed by the Swedish Olsson Lyckefors studio not only takes its name from one of the most iconic buildings in Sweden's second largest city, but also enters into dialogue with the protected historical pre-existing architecture. An 8,000 square metre building is born that fits harmoniously into the urban context, without losing its identity.

Ivrea reopens its doors: Welc-Home to my House 2023
Once again this year, Ivrea - the industrial city of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site - opens its doors for visitors to marvel at Olivetti’s architecture, with involvement from local citizens and a media partnership with Floornature. There are two weekends available - 23/24 September and 30 September/1 October - as well as days dedicated to photography and architecture on 22 and 30 September respectively.

A villa in Baja California Sur, Casa Calafia by RED Arquitectos
With Casa Calafia, the Mexican studio RED Arquitectos led by architect Susana Lopez, has created a summer residence in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, a small town located between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas. The project embraces the transition from the desert to the Pacific Ocean thanks to precise architectural choices, in line with the local tradition.

Martin Goya X PIG, a regenerated space for artists
The PIG DESIGN studio, based in China, has co-created an art space for the Martin Goya Business art platform, founded by artist Cheng Ran: the Martin Goya.Pig in Hangzhou. An independent art space dedicated to supporting young local artists, while also encouraging spontaneous public activities.

Living with a view, Villa Hovås
In Gothenburg, Villa Hovås, designed by the Swedish Bornstein Lyckefors studio, boasting a marvellous view of the North Sea, was conceived precisely as a direct answer to the highly sought-after natural surroundings in which it is inserted. The layout of the house takes into account both the views, as well as the efficient organisation of the living spaces.

A rendezvous with a view: The Podium by MVRDV
Just a few short days after Rotterdam’s Rooftop Walk opened its doors to the public comes another installation from MVRDV intended to make a very special rooftop in the Dutch city accessible to all, namely that of the Het Nieuwe Instituut, a cultural centre with a focus on architecture, design and digital culture. The vibrant hot pink podium forms the heart of Rotterdam Architecture Month - this June - and will later be used as an event location until the end of August.

At Milan Design Week 2022 with LAND
On the occasion of the 60th Salone del Mobile in Milan, for Lendlease, the LAND landscape consultancy firm, together with Migliore+Servetto, presents the installation entitled "Urban Living, a window onto the Decumanus of MIND". Part of the Brera Design District, the landscaping of a parklet in Via Varese 12 dialogues with the Wunderkammer exhibition space. A terrace from which a series of events featuring international guests from the design culture world will be streamed via Floornature.com's Facebook channel as media partner.

Rotterdam Rooftop Walk or Rotterdam as you have never seen it
Designed by Rotterdam Rooftop Days and MVRDV, the bright orange Rotterdam Rooftop Walk is a 30-metre high and 600-metre long temporary structure located in the city centre which, for a month, offers the public fantastic views of the city. The initiative shows the potential of rooftops as contributors to a sustainable, healthy and liveable city.
